I associate decadence with luxury, indulgence, and extravagance. While some may view decadence as excessive or wasteful, others may see it as a celebration of abundance and enjoyment. Decadence can be a positive experience when it is enjoyed in moderation and brings pleasure and fulfillment to one's life. The late Roman decadence refers to the decline of the Roman Empire in the 3rd and 4th centuries, characterized by political instability, economic decline, and social unrest. While the USA may face its own challenges, it is not experiencing the same historical context as the late Roman Empire. The USA is a modern democratic republic with a different set of political, economic, and social dynamics. **

In "Death in Venice," typical motifs of decadence include the obsession with beauty and youth, the decay of the body and mind, and the pursuit of pleasure at the expense of morality. The protagonist, Gustav von Aschenbach, becomes fixated on the beauty of a young boy, Tadzio, which leads to his moral and physical decline. The setting of Venice, with its decaying grandeur and hedonistic atmosphere, also serves as a motif of decadence. Aschenbach's internal struggle with his desires and his eventual downfall exemplify the themes of decadence present in the novella. **

As of now, there are a few Nintendo Switch games that support gesture control. One of the most notable games is "Just Dance 2020," which allows players to use the Joy-Con controllers to track their movements and score points based on their dance performance. Another game that supports gesture control is "Fitness Boxing," where players can use the Joy-Con controllers to simulate boxing movements and get a workout. Additionally, some games like "Super Mario Party" and "1-2-Switch" also incorporate gesture control for certain mini-games. However, it's important to note that not all Nintendo Switch games support gesture control, and it largely depends on the specific game and its design. **
